Since then JD Sports has opened 29 stores and is continuously investigating new possibilities for growth, so keep an eye on us!Job DescriptionThis role will support the Sr. Marketing manager in maximizing the profitability of Retail store estate by positively impacting footfall, Conversion, ATV, UPT and Profit Margin across all store formats through flawlessly executed consumer-relevant, marketing campaigns, promotions and in-store communication (POS). The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and have the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment. It's crucial that this individual be proactive, curious, data-minded, and actively looking for ways we can impact the consumer journey/experience to help build daily relationships with our brand. The JD Marketing team puts the consumer at the heart of what we do to develop campaigns, content, partnerships, activations & events that elevate the JD brand and maximise consumer impact. Support on delivering the yearly retail calendar for the responsible markets, aligned with commercial objectives working closely with sales operations and VM. Regional retail plans includes brand campaigns, third party brand campaigns and key cultural/trade opportunities (such as national holiday weekends or back-to-school season).Monitor and review all marketing promotional activity providing analysis and learnings.Ensure our marketing campaign is fully integrated on a local/regional level.Work in close partnership with third party vendors to ensure all windows/POS production are on time and on budget.Supervise all regional retail marketing related budgets and ensure that all promotion is on-board, timely and well targeted.Know and understand the commercial targets and performance, understand which Marketing levers need to be activated to impact which KPIs and know how to activate them as needed.Work closely with your line manager and cross-functionally across Retail Operations, Multichannel and Property team, to pro-actively assess any performance issues (such as persistently declining traffic or a particularly slow month) and develop the tactical Retail Marketing solutions that might be needed to address these.Monitor marketing KPIs, in particular traffic and brand awarenessBe accountable for the success of new store openings by ensuring appropriate 360 activation plans are developed, implemented and executed. Store openings should include preparation, launch and sustain phases.Be accountable for monthly reportings and learning agenda, as well as in depth campaign reporting with clear success measurement and learnings. Review and refresh the retail activation toolkit to improve and advance consumer impact during key trading moments as well as store openings/events.Regularly visit key stores and key locations to gather on-field information and assess level of in-store campaign executionShare best practices within the market and critically assess how activations can be applied/expanded Key Relationships Senior Marketing Manager – (Line Manager)Global Marketing teamBuying & MerchandisingVisual MerchandisingRetail OperationsExternal agencies and vendorsMulti-Channel teamThird party vendors   Job RequirementsThe candidate we are looking for: 3-4+ years of (Retail) Marketing experience within apparel, sportswear or relevant lifestyle brands/retailersExtensive in-market experience and previous experience helping drive seasonal/moment-driven marketing strategiesHigh level verbal and written English and Dutch, any other European language is a plusCreative mindset balanced with a strong analytical skills and ability to advise on planning Knowledge of the sports & lifestyle and youth culture: particularly interested about Good understanding of Retail KPIs Team player with solid interpersonal, networking and negotiating skills.Able to manage fast paced environment.Geographically mobile.
